Hawthorn Numbers Stack For HID Group

The numbers have stacked up for accountants and financial advisors HID Group, which has leased a Burwood Road office in Hawthorn’s increasingly popular office market.

Fitzroys’ Stephen Land negotiated the five year lease for the 300sqm space on part of Level 3, 313 Burwood Road at $114,000 per annum net plus GST.

HID Group had previously been located within the same building in Carlton for around 19 years. Land said the inner-east continues to be a drawcard for office tenants across Melbourne.

“Competition has notably increased for office space in the suburbs, influenced by ongoing sharp vacancies in the CBD and the immediate fringe, which have both tightened to historic lows,” Land said.

“More Melburnians are seeking to live, work and go out in inner-city locations, and this has proven particularly so for suburbs with accessibility and lifestyle options.”

“HID Group were drawn to the location and building’s immediate proximity the popular retail, lifestyle and hospitality amenity of Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn, and multiple public transport links and existing on-site car parking.”

Land said the commercial market beyond the CBD and city fringe also offers tenants more affordable chances for new pastures and expansion opportunities.

He said the premises’ existing fit-out and natural light were also an attraction to tenants that enquired from across Melbourne.

Fitzroys is currently leasing remaining space of 230sqm within the building, including a fully-fitted area which offers excellent natural light with private balcony and ample on-site car parking.
